CMMedia founder and principal Carrie A. Mitchell is an award-winning media and communications senior executive with over 20 years of global experience in New York City, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and London. Her portfolio includes previous leadership roles at Four Seasons Hotels, BBH, Sonder Communications, and projects with Condé Nast, Hearst, Youtube, Netflix, Forbes, Marriott Hotels, Airbnb, Expedia, Viking Cruises, Strategic Hospitality Group, Wolfgang Puck, Moët Hennessy, Destination Canada, Discover America, and Rodeo Drive, where she served on the Board of Directors.

As an enthusiastic storyteller and creator, Carrie is also a writer, author, broadcaster and speaker. She produces a monthly media newsletter, previously hosts the ‘Travel Oracles’ podcast, wrote the children’s book “To Be We: The Adventures of Owen and Lucy”, and her writing on travel and culture has been featured in Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Vogue, Elle, The New Yorker, LA Times, Forbes, BBC, CNN, Skift, Haute Living Magazine, and more.

She is also the Co-founder of Age Box Ventures, which houses a portfolio of women-owned consumer, lifestyle, hospitality, and tech brands.
