Travel Book Favorites
Recently I snatched up the new books “To Shake the Sleeping Self” by Jedidiah Jenkins, and the most recent “The Best American Travel Writing” by multiple writers, but edited by “Wild” author Cheryl Strayed. It made me think of my love of writing & fiction books (I was a literature major, some things never change) and which ones had inspired me to travel over the years. So I humbly offer a round up below of ones that inspired me to explore places, but as books can be a personal thing, I would love to hear from you if you have more suggestions! (You can find an extensive list on Good Reads as well)
