Consider this my warm up to the big Round Top Antique show in the Fall: I recently spent a few weeks back in Austin, but this time took to the road to explore the many small towns outside of the City in search of treasure.

While I have taken many trips to the wonderful town of Austin, it was Marfa, Texas that has long been beckoning me (as well as the Roundtop Antique Market, which is still on my list). This art hub in a small desert city in west Texas, has big things going on in a Wild West setting.

I decided to wrap up my ‘Southern Belle’ summer with a trip to Austin, Texas for Labor Day weekend, and did it ever live up to my expectations
