I have worked with many travel, lifestyle, and media brands over the years - as a communications and marketing pro, writer, host, and creator - but leading communications at Four Seasons Hotels in Beverly Hills (Beverly Wilsire), Las Vegas, and London (UK Collection), was pretty fabulous. It goes without saying that Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts are the best in the world, with exceptional locations and service, a few of which are now also serving as the locations for the popular White Lotus series (Hawaii, Italy, Thailand tbd). As of January 2024, they have 128 hotels and resorts in 47 countries, a private FS Private Jet, and are just launching their FS yachts. I have had the privilige to visit many locations, and to further support friends at other properties through content and consulting, but perhaps the best experience for me were the many people I worked with that continue to be close friends and colleagues - the most professional group of people I have had the pleasure to work with. So on that note, I thought I was long overdue to do a roundup of experiences and stays.

Four Seasons Hotels I have worked at

  1. Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel: Yes, the “Pretty Woman” property just steps from Rodeo Drive. This was the first hotel I ever worked at over a decade ago, and we had so much fun and won many awards along the way.

  2. Four Seasons Las Vegas: I had the pleasure of supporting this property, lead by a wonderful prior colleague, as an interim communications director just this year through the city’s first Formula 1 event and the Super Bowl.

  3. Four Seasons UK Collection: With two locations in London, and the country estate in Hampshire, this was a dream set up for an English Lit major and Anglophile. Read more about the properties in my previous post.

additional Four Seasons Hotels I have visited

*If you want to learn more about the Four Seasons locations that The White Lotus shot in, read my previous post about the details

FS Los Angeles – Also located in Beverly Hills, but a newer property and not to be confused with Bev Wil, the Pretty Woman Hotel, that sits atop Rodeo Drive. But it has a bigger pool and is popular with young celebrities and for press junkets.

FS Westlake – Technically this is in Malibu but it’s not ocean side, and primarily functions as a wellness center.

FS Santa Barbara – A classic weekend getaway from LA, this property is a favorite for romantic weekends and weddings but has been closed for a long stretch.

FS San Francisco – A classic business hotel in a convenient downtown location, but I believe a second location has since opened as well

FS Napa Valley - Also newly opened, in a gorgeous location and wonderful culinary options

FS Toronto – The old location was a staple through the many film and arts festivals in the City, until it’s new location opened in 2012 and is opening a new era of luxury

FS Montreal - This property just opened a few years ago, and is a welcome addition to the exciting city

FS Vancouver – RIP. This was one of the original locations, but no longer exists. Perhaps there will be a new addition down the line, given it is a Canadian based company.

FS Whistler - This is a favorite for some of my family in BC, and given its beautiful location and activities for families, I recommend it too.

FS NY (midtown) – A solid choice for business travelers given it’s location but sadly it has been closed since the pandemic. It is such an institution, I hope that changes

FS NY (downtown) – This location is great near shopping, dining, and the World Trade Center. It also has a Wolfgang Puck’s CUT (like we had at Beverly Wilshire). It is part residential too.

FS Denver – It’s always bussing in the lobby bar, and is the perfect location downtown, and great for business travelers.

FS Vail – I have been here a few times, and absolutely love the location, swimming with the backdrop of mountains, and steps from the chairlift for winter skiing. Read my previous post about it.

FS Jackson Hole – Always a fantastic stay for similar mountain reasons

FS Santa Fe – This location is a further out of the city, but it offers space and sweeping landscape

FS Austin – Perfectly located on the river, and just a short walk to all of the action on South congress, and was recently updated

FS Maui - Another family favorite, there are actually 4 properties in Hawaii. Maui is the only location I have visited and I believe it is the largest

FS Mexico City – My favorite courtyard to people watch in! The had a recent renovation too and is close to everything

FS Punta Mita – a wonderful resort about half an hour away from Puerto Vallarta, and great for families (Don’t worry, they have an ‘adults only’ pool area too)

FS Paris (George V) – My favorite stay yet! It’s all the glamour you have wanted in Paris

FS Florence - A stunning location around a 10 minute walk away from the centre of Florence, with other properties in the Italy collection including Milan and Taormina

FS Madrid - A beautiful historic building with a recently opened / renovated property in a city I adore. I am counting down until they open Spain’s new Mallorca location

FS Bali (Ubud) – I have stayed at a few resorts in Bali, and this one is certainly lovely, and a wonderful wellness escape

FS Hong Kong – A must stay in Hong Kong, they have done everything right at this property

There are still so many properties on my list to visit, so here is sharing many more adventures In the future. Happy (luxury) travels.
