Thoughtful gifts and giving back this holiday season
Amid the many holiday gift guides, I always share a roundup of my latest lists to shop online, along with recommendations for smaller women-owned businesses and charities to support. Also this year, just like the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals that happen after Thanksgiving, Travel Tuesday is making its return on December 3rd. Let’s explore and get ahead of the game, shall we?

Travel Tuesday
Returning on December 3rd, Travel Tuesday is a great day to shop airfare and hotel deals. Last year, big brands, including Ryanair, Virgin Holidays, Booking.com, Hopper, Singapore Airlines, and more had offered deals beyond Cyber Monday. So it’s a good idea to put a wish list together before you shop, and ideally stay flexible with dates and destinations (popular dates won’t change much).

Support Small Business
This past week on TikTok saw a lot of women encouraging each other to share women and minority-owned business to support this season too. While websites like Etsy do highlight some independent craft makers, check out more dedicated data bases and links to support a special area of interest.
Give Back
Always make room to give back during the holidays in anyway you can, maybe it’s volunteering your time, your expertise, donating good or funds. Check out Charity Navigator to get some ideas on the latter.
