The Lovely Four Seasons UK Collection

My time living in London and leading communications for the Four Seasons UK Collection in London and Hampshire is overdue for a roundup. These lovely hotels offer very different locations and experiences, but always the best customer service in the business, and coveted by luxury travelers everywhere.

Four Seasons London at Park Lane

This property is actually the first Four Seasons to open outside of Canada, and therefore has one of the most ideal locations. While it is more of a traditional business hotel, they do have some lovely suites, a recently redesigned lobby, a 5-Star spa, and a new restaurant Pavyllon, Chef Yannick's luxury dining experience. Located in Mayfair, just steps from Kensington Park and Palace, Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, art galleries, and shopping galore - this is very central indeed and ideal for couples, single or business travelers.

Four Seasons at Ten Trinity Square

This location is further east in the old city, but in a historic building (Port of London Authority circa 1922) and steps from the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge, White Chapel, many markets and galleries. It also features Mei Ume restaurant, a private club, and a five-star spa. The white neoclassical building feels very grand upon entry, and the suites offer high ceilings and design detail feel very old world yet modern (it was renovated in 2017). The private members’ club on the second floor (not accessible to guests) offers ample working & meeting space, and a dedicated wine room. The lobby’s equally grand marble rotunda would feel cavernous if not for the warmly glowing bar beckoning you across the room – with a sexily curved copper top and baroque cabinet of backlit bottles – a great place for a martini or two.

Four Seasons Hampshire

A very special property in the English Countryside, not far from where Jane Austen used to roam, regularly beckons families and wedding parties alike. The 17th century heritage-listed building overlooking a 250-acre estate was recently redesigned in 2021 and looks fabulous and colorful, while still holding true to manor house traditions. You can swim outside even on wintry nights and be soothed and warmed by jets of massaging bubbles after a sauna, the steam room or one of the spa’s prized massages. The more traditional country house pursuits of horseback riding, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, golf, croquet, tennis and country walking and running are all for the choosing., or you can just settle back in the library in the original Manor House and enjoy the lovely views over a traditional cup of tea, or a brandy and cigar in the library bar. The 27,000-square-foot spa’s design includes exposed beams and slate showers. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Dogmersfield Park, it’s the perfect place to relax. The only catch? All guests use the same restaurant and bar area, so be sure to book your time slot.
