Paris, France
Paris, France’s capital, is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Its 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the River Seine. I have visited France many times, from North to South, and Paris continues to seduce me. With food, with art, with style. Like NY, Paris is a City best seen by walking. It is easy to wander, and my first stops (after food) are generally to the Musee d’Orsay, or possibly the Louvre if it is not the weekend. I have been fortunate to stay at both the George V (Four Seasons) and The Ritz, which will re-open after a spectacular renovation at the end of 2015. (If you have time, a Day trip to Versaille is lovely too!) There is simply to much to fit into one post, but we continue to focus on select areas of Paris in future posts.
